Overview
Two girls

Open to all incoming 3rd-6th graders (Fall 2026 grades)!

Camp GOTR is a week-long, half-day camp created to support girls as they grow—physically, socially, and emotionally—through joyful, confidence-building experiences. With an intentionally designed curriculum, girls learn through playful small- and large-group games, movement, interactive workshops, and moments for personal reflection. Along the way, they build life skills and form meaningful, positive connections with peers in a safe and encouraging environment.

Ma fille n’est pas une grande coureuse. Est-ce que ce programme lui conviendra? OU Ma fille est déjà une coureuse expérimentée. Est-ce que ce programme lui conviendra?

My child isn't a big runner; is this program for them? OR My child is already a skilled runner. Is this program for them?

Yes! We are much more than a running program, and every participant can benefit from the experience of building confidence through accomplishment while participating in our rich, curriculum-based, age-appropriate, interactive lessons. Expect lots of games, talking, laughing and processing in addition to running at each practice. And know that when we say run, we mean run, walk, skip, roll or push, just as long as you are moving foward!

Who can participate?

Camp GOTR is for girls entering or exiting 3rd – 6th grades in 2025 and is intended to draw participants from many areas. Camp GOTR has a minimum of 15 girls and a maximum of 45 girls.

How much does Camp GOTR cost?

The standard fee for a week of Camp GOTR is $150 per girl, which includes 20+ hours of fun and instruction, a healthy snack each day, a t-shirt and water bottle, and more. If a family is unable to pay the suggested amount, they can simply select the amount they are able to pay, from $0 to $150. All are welcome to participate and financial aid is automatic and confidential.

How does Camp GOTR compare to regular Girls on the Run?

Camp GOTR is an intensive experience - all the fun and impact of a 8-week, 16-lesson program, squished into one week during the summer! Girls who have participated in GOTR before and girls who are brand new to Girls on the Run will enjoy the Camp GOTR activities, games and themes. Up to 45 girls can participate in one Camp GOTR location, though they’ll split into small groups of 10-15 for many activities.

Is there a way for me to sponsor a participant?

Yes! As a mission-driven 501(c)3, Girls on the Run relies on generous donors in order to provide more than $30,000 in program scholarships for families in need. Click here to sponsor a participant this season.
